What bad behavior are you fascinated by?

I was reading the dailymail when I came across an article about three sisters who use heroin.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...n-turned-prostitution-support-drug-habit.html

For some reason I am fascinated by women who use drugs. I do no know why, but I like to read articles and watch documentaries about women.

Men who use drugs, no big deal. I expect men to screw up their lives and make bad decisions.

When I see a beautiful woman using drugs, I ask why? What went so wrong in your life that you turned to drugs?

Because you're a creep? That and/or you're so hung up on them being so vastly different you have trouble viewing women as humans and thus realizing they have all the same components that you rationalize as understanding why men act like they do.

Actually, other issues are there too though. People who suffer from depression or suffered abuse in their childhoods often reach out to drugs and alcohol. If you split them up into 2 rough groups, you have those who are poor and rich. Those who are poor are typically closer to the street dealers of drugs and may be more exposed to junkies willing to share for favors or whatever...then you have those with money who are simply trying to 'enjoy life' or 'make things better'.....often it stems from being lonely or bored.

In both cases, many don't know what they're getting into when they try it. You can say stupidity, I claim it's ignorance. That's where they jump from alcohol or something less permanent to heroin where they can't get off the stuff.

For those who are attractive that get on it, they are often coaxed to try it by guys. The guys appear to be physically fit because they simply do the stuff often enough that they don't eat...when in fact they just have low body fat. So there's a lot going on. Watch Trainspotting....all those guys were messed up. :D

Actually as far as heroin, a lot of people are getting started due to prescription painkillers.

I forgot about that side of it.

I know heroin is supposed to be a lot cheaper, so when the DEA shuts down the pill suppliers, people will go to what they can get. I saw an article about how bad the problem was in Vermont last year, so it's becoming a replacement drug on that side.

Why did their parents abuse them? Could be quite a few reasons I guess, following it all the way back I would bet stupidity is at the core of it all.

You make a good point though it may not be the individuals own stupidity they might be quite bright on their own but somewhere down the family line (or peer group) someone suffered stupidity and that was the root cause.

I am fascinated by people who post hateful things and attempt to provide reasons why they feel they are justified and when present facts discrediting their prejudiced, continue to use dumber and dumber arguments against it.

I know a few different families that dealt with their kids getting tangled up with drugs. One case was physician husband and nurse wife... The wife was basically Nurse Jackie..got addicted to painkillers and the husband worked long hours in a few different cities, so he was around only a few nights a week. Their son got addicted to meth and who knows what else. He had money and his parents enabled him to do whatever he wanted. He rarely had to answer for what he did. He watched his mom do painkillers for years, so that either messed him up or he decided that with his trust fund, plus allowance, he didn't need to do anything. I'm sure he doesn't understand how long a trust fund will last, but a few hundred thousand sounds like a lot of money to a teenager. I think he's 23 now and has been in and out of rehab....flunked out of college twice.

Anything really. Breaking Bad was interesting because of the drug empire story. Dexter was interesting because of the "serial killer meets street justice" angle. Ocean's 11 was a fun heist movie. The concept of people getting away with things is always fun; I love reading stories about the crazy stuff that happens IRL. Like this guy who cheated the McDonalds Monopoly game out of $20 million dollars:

http://priceonomics.com/the-mcdonalds-monopoly-fraud/

Or these people who snuck out $7 million dollar's worth of inventory under their clothing over time:

People who fascinate me: People who think women using drugs is different than men using drugs.

A woman using heroin = scum = A man using heroin. Have you ever watched cops?

I find it fascinating how hot female teachers have sex with their underage students. I mean c'mon... I wanna be a "victim" in those cases. It's funny how nearly all of the teachers get caught when the students brag to their friends and gets reported afterwards.

Addiction is an interesting malady. People like to attribute it to simple willpower, but it's more than that. It's a disease with genetic and biological underpinnings that is still not full understood.

Relationships often fascinate (and vex) me. How someone can remain in and return to abusive relationships is a mystery to me. Why do people often seek out and attach themselves to others who have exactly the worst traits for them. How do they sense those traits in those people to start with?

Hypocrisy, double standards and fear.

Fear is the origins of the 1st two - since it is what causes hypocrisy and double standards; people are SO afraid, they don't realize their reactions and treatment of what they fear is illogical.

It then makes them look like buffoons who constantly contradict themselves.

There is a documentary on netflix called "tent city". It is about homeless people trying to form a community.

They are drove out of their homes by a flood. When a landowner told them they could build a shanty town on his property the city tried passing ordancies to drive the homeless out.

I am fascinated by people who build their entire careers by spinning webs of deceit and misinformation, and by the people who believe all the blatant lies they are told.

Bad drivers are somewhat fascinating. At times I find myself amazed at how apparently oblivious these people are to traffic around them. Even more interesting is that you can easily tell the bad ones just by the road rash and dents on their cars. A car will be passing me and I look at it and say "Damn that thing is banged up" and true to form they cut me off or perform some other outstanding vehicular maneuvers. I've gotten to the point where I just laugh rather than get pissed off.

School bus wreck this morning a few miles from where I live.

The bus was stopped, had its lights on loading students, when an 18-wheeler slams into the school bus. How do you not see a school bus with its red flashing lights?

There was some fog this morning, but nothing bad. Visibility was good.
