I change mine about once a day. I get a lot of mine from InterfaceLIFT and I also use the "Backgrounds" Android app. For InterfaceLIFT, I have to download the 1024x768 walls since they don't have any at 640x480, but it doesn't actually matter.

Currently using this one (click for source):

Heres mine, minus the icons. Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.

Or, all together (as it looks on my N900)...

I'm OCD so I don't use widgets. I need as much screen space as possible. I can't stand the thought that something is using up CPU cycles and thus battery, no matter how minuscule.

That's how I feel. I can't stand them on my PC either. But I do love browser extensions....

Its hard out here for a nerd.

Widgets look nice. I hear ya though. I hate using CPU cycles too, so I usually spend a day doing a nice widget layout on my PC and then I just delete them all to optimize performance once again. Never got over it on my phone though.

I figure if I'm gonna charge everyday anyway, widgetless I might make it to 60%. Widgets I might drop to 40% battery. Either way if I go a 2nd day, it'll cut it REAL close to 0% by the time I get back from work. might as well just leave them on unless it's a significant difference in getting thru that 2nd day on the same charge...

I kind of go back and forth as far as widgets are concerned. If there were some consistency in their appearance, I think I would be more likely to use them.

The only widgets I have going is the flipclock and the power control one.

I kinda like the look of the flip clock. I might try to fit an analog clock in my droid's belly...that would be ok
