what axia/ayhja to buy ?

I am doubting between the following procs:
AXIA 1 Ghz (120$)
AXIA 1.2 Ghz (160$)
AXIA 1.33 Ghz (180$)
AYHJA1.4 Ghz (225$)

Of course the cheapest one is the 1 Ghz,which should about overclock to 1.4+.
But does anybody think I should pay a few bucks for another that better overclocks ?

No there is no differance in overclocking ability of any of the ones that you have listed. The only differance is that the 1.2 is unlocked. On the other hand I usually get the 1.0 "b" (200fsb) chip because it has the 10x multiplier and you just change fsb, to 140-150 depending on how high it goes. Almost any AXIA will go 1400. I have bought 1.4 AYHJA's that did mnot go ANY faster than the average 1.0 AXIA's. I have mostly 1.0 and 1.2 (over 20 AXIA's rigs running here now) and they are all about the same. Don't throw your money away.

Hmm, I don't have much experience overclocking but I'm sure you can find them for cheaper than that. Try checking pricewatch.com.

I'm kinda partial to the 1.2, just because I don't have to screw around trying to unlock it and it's still cheap.

ps: I live in belgium and 120$ is absolutely the cheapest I can get, If I import from the US I have to pay 40% tax the price it costs

wrong.
i live in spain (european union as well) and 1.2 axia i own was a mere 100$ unlocked. try it in some other countries of the eu because that purchase would not be an import, but a domestic purchase from the tax's point of view.

btw 1.33 is priced that 120 you state.

Ya I 1ghz AXIA week 11 I got ran 1.42ghz rock! I see many people getting 1.2's and 1.33 that cannot overclock anymore than that even though they cost more go 1ghz AXIA Y unless you can find a AYHJAR they are supposed to be the Bomb to O/C %60. Shoot and i bought for $90 on egay and then sold it for $125 as pretested past 1.4 =) getting a 1.33 AYHJA hopefully a Y and hit 1.6 if not i'll sell it till i get there!
