What AVIVO settings to play DVD on 1920x1080 lcd?

the static picture scales and de-interlaces just fine. It's very well looking.
However, for any moving objects I see artifacts as tearing or it looks like interlaced object inside solid picture with black horizontal lines across moving object.

I selected 3:2 and auto for de-interlacing in CCC (6.12)

I tried deselect 3:2 and resulting static picture doesn't look as good as with 3:2
When I disabled de-interlaced (select wave) and I got more tearing.

I use PowerDVD 6 as player.

I tried 1080p mp4 and win hd clips - all that look just fine - no problems at all.

It looks like that x1950pro isn't fast enough to do 3:2 and de-interlacing ...

I run it on P4-965 (2 cores at 3.9ghz) and cpu doesn't go above 10% any time.

What I'm missing here?
tnx.
