What Auto Insurance company should I go with?

Allstate decided to jack my rates up to 1800 every six months so I am going to say goodbye to those thieves.

What other insurance companies do you recommend?

Well, I went from Progressive to Liberty Mutual just last week, saved about 900 a year with better coverage?s, so that was nice.

Oh yea, I went to esurance first to see what kind of rates I could get from different insurance companies. Liberty Mutual came out on top with the best rate. I then went to LM website and got an even better rate. So I followed up with a call and once again I got an even better rate. So yea, it was an easy decision to make.

Geico ripped me off by saying I had to sign and send them some form to refuse certain types of insurance. They jacked my rates up 50% and after I'd sent the form they were still "processing" it for two weeks until I ended the policy. After going to esurance I noticed that same form can be digitally signed by just typing your name in a box. I quit them because my driving record changed and Progressive was much cheaper. They also gave me the electronic version of the form, meaning Geico was completely full of it.

So although their commercials are amusing I do not recommend Geico.

I checked 5 different places in the phone book. Geico wanted $105 for JUST car insurance. One or two $85 for car, another for $85, but that INCLUDED renters insurance (which I asked for in the quote). I went with AAA. $65 a month for car and renters insurance. I guess that's okay?

I have LM too. Pretty much the best rate around. I also moved to them from Progressive who wanted more money.

Aye, when I first picked up Progressive they saved me nearly 1k a year on auto insurance switching from State Farm to them, but over the last couple of years they slowly but surely jacked their rates on me with no accidents or tickets. So basically, I had to drop em, kind of funny I'm saving almost that much again.
