What ATI video competes w 6800 vanilla?

Nothing at that retail price point, for now. There's a new PCIe X800 or X850 that'll compete with the new PCIe 6800s, tho. Check Anand's review for whatever card will be MSRP$250.
 
The X800/X800XL will be in the $250/$350 range, but won't be out till january at the earliest. Of course, it's pretty hard for me to recommend the 6800NU when 6600GTs are so much cheaper and perform almost as well. X700XT is also worth looking at, if it's ever released.
 
Technically, I think they have the x800SE competing with the 6800. However, the x800SE is no real competition for the 6800, because it's more expensive AND slower.
