If you're using a board that would fall under "other" please post what specific board that is. I didn't want to post model names for each board because I didn't want to mistakenly list the wrong model. I tried to list the major brands. I'm just curious which boards are the most prevelant. If you've had extreme positive or negative impressions about a board please post.

built 20+ computers with board and none are having ANY problems yet (knock on wood)...but really they all are working flawlessly right now...just built one last night as well...came right up...currently running stability test....

no...wait i had ONE...kill a psu...but that may have been a bad psu...:) also the guy who had it, stuffed the computer into this little area with no sort of ventalation and how a towel covering the whole tower not let the psu fan or the side panel fan blow out any air....but other than that...the rest of them posted with no problems...all with diff kinds of hardware as well...diff brands of video cards...hard drives...cpu's; duron, tbird.....and what not...some with 250w and 300w psu...(the one that burnt out was an 300w amd recommended psu)...

all in all...this board will work for you if you build it correctly and dont rush through it...

I know exactly what you mean about VENTILATION. I had someone that had their computer sitting inside a closed cabinet with no openings except for the cables... luckily only their video card fried. It's amazing what dust and no venitilation will do to a fan. I almost burned my hand when I took the video card out. Makes you appreciate the purpose of a good heat sink/fan.

I`ve two boards,

MSI K7T PRO (VIA KT133) for my T-bird 900 mhz it`s very stable no problems, the only bad thing is there`ve been reports here in AT and other places of this model just dying for no reason, mine is still going strong touch wood.

Second is my Epox 8KHA+ board (VIA KT266a) that I use with my XP 1700+ board ,also no problems but Epox boards like a good PSU.

ECS K7VMA right now. KM133 chipset, it setup quite easily and really haven't had any huge issues with it. I have had issues with getting my hard drive to run at ATA/100 and it sometimes is a tad unstable when running the memory at PC133 speeds but otherwise, great board! Exactley what I needed at the time. I voted though Asus A7N266-E becuase in a few weeks I'll be getting it.
