Here's Intel's linecard for starters. Answer the following questions and we can help you out:

  • Do you REQUIRE support for the 800MHz-based CPUs or would 533MHz-based be enough for you?
  • How much money do you have budgeted for the motherboard?
  • Would you require lots of bells and whistles such as USB 2.0, SATA, six-channel audio, Firewire, onboard network or built-in coffeemaker? If so, what features do you require?
  • Would you consider a motherboard that achieves very high performance by using RDRAM memory, or do you want to stick to DDR memory?
  • Are you planning to re-use any of your existing hardware? If so, what?
  • How much RAM do you want your system to have?
