1. Operation Flashpoint: No game has EVER moved me like this. I still put in more hours in this game than ANY out there. I cannot stop making missions for this game.
The maps are true and awesome! The vehicles are aplentyl. The graphics are great. The sense of war is perfect. The physics are true.

2. Undying: I will not play this in a dark room!

3. Total Annihilation: Another game that I just keep going back to every now and then!

4. Grand Theft Auto III & Vice City (PS2): What can you say? The level of detail in this game is unheard of. These are not just individual games, they are approx 20-30 games rolled into one. Very hard to just focus on doing ONE thing in this game. So much to do!

5. Madden NFL 2003 (PS2): Best damn football game EVER! It is in the game! I shed a tear last week after taking 3 full seasons to get the Seahawks to the Superbowl and beating the New York Jets 31-30 in overtime!! Kicked a game winning 49 yard field goal INTO THE WIND!!Just missing the left upright by a hair!! Talk about a HUGE MOMENT!! YEAAAH BABY!!

I could add 20 things to the ones I posted already. I didnt even mention a C&C, Doom, not even Quake1 Reaper Bots :Q
HL an excellent SP but as said, milked to death, and at times a bit too much reliance on the quicksave :( If I'd played it closer to release time I think I'd have been more impressed. More immense games: RageRacer on N64, Soul Blade/Calibur, GTA, GTA3, Shining Force on megadrive (Genesis in US i think), Civillisation, Alpha Centauri, Shogun:TW...

1º Well, playing Mafia for the first time was great.... I was waiting for that game for a long time... all their moments were perfects!!!The level of the Priest!!, the Race... everything...it´s the best MOVIE I´ve seen!!!
2º When I get GTA3 and I installed on my PC...Mafia wasn´t out yet... and was the first time I felt so liberty (city)... GREAT.
3º Playing Operation Flashpoint resistance with my clan over the Internet... finishing OF... that mission in which I had to land with my little plane was very difficult...
4º Great Moments playing Hidden & dangerous... that music inspired the terror on me!!!, I thought I was going to be shot at any time. And Playing Morrowind for the first time was incredible... that graphics are great... wish I had a pixel shader support in my card to see that water...
And yes.. the Omaha Beach level in MOHAA was incredible!!

Battlefield has provided a gaming experience like none other to me. Never in one single online game (I mean one game session) have I been able to:

-Run around as a foot solider blasting enemies with my machine gun
-Jump in a tank and fire the 'big gun'
-Take off in a plane and bomb the enemy base
-captain a sub and hunt down the enemy destroyer
-Run over baddies in the jeep (my favorite) then take out a tank with the thing.

Others I've liked in recent years

-Halflife (need I say more? I really didn't like the last couple of levels but enjoyed the whole thing like no other)
-Counterstrike (If I had all the time back that I've spent playing this game I would, well, have a lot of time on my hands!)
-Baldur's Gate II

I'm sure there are others, but that's my top 4.

In sequential order

Quake 2 -
This is where my gaming addiction began. I worked in the maintenance shop for an apartment complex and the head guy was a big gaming fan. He had 2 pc's networked and we use to play probably 2-3 hours a day out of the 8 hour workday. 1 on 1 deathmatch. This was the first time I ever played an FPS. I was blown away by the intensity of a 10 person deathmatch. Then I discovered Rocket Arena. Playing in a team environment was even more fun.

Rogue Spear -
This was the first fps game I bought. It was unplayable until I upgraded from 4MB onboard video to a Voodoo 3. Then I went from dial-up to cable and it was a whole new world. I played this 2-3 hours a night for at least 6 months.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault -
I bought this game right after building my first DIY computer. Athlon XP 1700+, GF3 Ti200, 512 MB PC2100.
I loved and still love MOH. It is so much fun being a sniper on destroyed village. The first time I snuck up on another sniper and killed him with three whacks from the butt of my pistol was quite fun.
I probably played MOH at least 2 hours a night from February of this year until I downloaded the BF 1942 demo.

BF 1942 -
OMG, what an amazing game. BF is my current drug of choice. I often play for 4 or 5 hours at a time. I'm trying to cut down to 3 or 4 times a week instead of 7, but it is so hard. If only this work thing didn't get in the way. Sucks having to get up at 7 am when you didn't go to bed until 4am.
There have been so many memorable moments in BF.
The first time I sunk a destroyer with torpedos from the sub.
The first time I actually hit a ship with a torpedo dropped from a plane.
The first time I shot someone down in a dogfight.
The first time I blew up a tank with a bazooka.
The first time I actually hit a moving target with the sniper rifle.
The first time I shot down a plane with the AA gun.
The first time I destroyed a tank that was camping in our hangar by flying my plane into it full speed.
The first time I got a knife kill.
Carpet bombing with the B-17 and taking out 2 tanks and about 5 infantry in one pass.
The first time I actually landed a plane without crashing.
Finally figuring out how to use the artillery after a scout marks a target.
Jeep stunts.
Jeep races.
Flying my plane into the back of the hangar, flipping it, and ejecting, all without dying, but leaving myself trapped in a corner behind a plane standing on it's nose. That was funny.

I could go on for hours but I won't. This game is the best ever.

Ahhh....Return to Zork was one of the games I got when I bought my first CDROM in the early 90's. That game was awesome for its time. I made to the Post Office in the first town before I went out and purchased the official RTZ guide. :)
