Doesn't look like it's getting a lot of feedback. 2 reviews.....most recent from a year ago.

I'd probably just go with a humidifier.

It looks like it would work fine. It's cheap. Buy one and give it a go. If you like it, buy more.

The only issue I could foresee is if the register couldn't use up the water in a timely fashion you could be dispersing mold.

Yes, as others have said, this could be a disease / allergy waiting to happen. I'd suggest putting s germicidal (that is safe for humidifiers) product in the water.

Regular humidifiers would have the same possibility of spreading infection yes?

The water in that product would remain warm in the winter as the warm air blows across it.. The water in my humidifier is 69 degrees max.

I guess so. I rinse mine out every night to be safe (not sure if that helps or not).

Whats wrong with dry air?
Dry nasal passages

wet nasal passages get on my nerves.
But a humidifier isn't going to make your nose run. A dry nose hurts and can cause bleeding with some people. Some people need wetter air than others to maintain the proper amount of mucous

...But back to the thread topic, I've used a cool-air humidifier that worked the same way (blowing air over a wick) and it did OK, but there wasn't much difference in the high and low settings. You may want to get a stand-alone humidifier just so you can change how much it puts out.

Have you thought about a furnace attachment?
