What are your temps? anyone using an sk6+

mine are at 42 currently no load on a 1700+, earlier i saw 51C max, w/ no load, but since then i took off the heatsink, and reapplied AS. how much will temps drop once AS2 is set much or not much?

anyone know how accurate the sensor is on a chaintech 7nif2 mini atx mobo is? that is the mobo i am using currently.


i wanna see how my temps compare, please list yours.

I got one of those to put in my other machine with a 1700 but haven't got round to installing it yet. I stuck an 80mm fan on it.

I'm running the XP1700 at 2400(2gigs) and my CPU temps are 38c while gaming and 32c when idling. My room temp right now is 21c (round 70) and my system temp is 25c. I'm very surprised and happy with my temps...Gotta love these "B" chips.

I'm not using the SK-6,I'm using the SVC GC-68 with ys tech fan and radio shack grease.

Stuck the SK6+ on my XP 1600+ machine. Running an 80mm Panaflo L1A on the sink it gives me load temps of 49ºC. Idle looks like about 43ºC.

that is where i am at huesmann, at 1.5ghz on a 1700+ (now about an 1800+)

My temps average 5 C for the mobo and 28 C for my ATHLON XP 2400+ oc'ed to 2.5GHz using 2.125 volts. I'm using a 5200 BTU air-conditioner to cool my innards and it works great (so far).
