I just need good heat, a name and an address. I've never needed a phone number before, maybe I'm naive.

i only have done one thing from heat -- i purchased a laptop. obviously, i paid first, and then he shipped, but in the end all parties were happy.

if i were to sell something, i'd probably ask first or reference this thread. 🙂

not naive...just trusting. people that deal on Anandtech are GENERALLY good traders and won't try and scam you. I personally have been "scammed" once...but thanks to the troll hunters, the scammer eventually caved and it was resolved...overall this community provides a very safe and easy selling/trading enviornment which involves a lot of trust

That and the trading community here has a lot of members who have been around for a long time. If you have 100 good trades, the last thing you want to do is be branded a troll.

That and the trading community here has a lot of members who have been around for a long time. If you have 100 good trades, the last thing you want to do is be branded a troll.

very true...but I am even trusting of people with 20 or so trades (I only have 19 heat...but it feels like ive been trading forever)

I never ship first to anyone with less heat than myself...so usually a good amount of heat is all that I require.
