what are your recommended settings for epsxe based on my system?

I just stopped using bleem and went to epsxe, which is quite good but it's too fast. I using pete's opengl driver 1.54 for gpu and eternal SPU v1.10 for sound and the epsxe core aspi 1.4 cdr for the cdrom. I'm playing suikoden 2 but the game is too fast on the pc than than psx, on the pc, I walk as fast as I run on my psx, is there a setting to slow down the game speed? I have a P3 900mhz at 130mhz fsb with 512MB ram and a geforce 3 using a sblive xgamer under win98se. What are the best settings for my hardware setup? also anyone know a psx emulator/news site that has a blue background and dark blue bars with epsxe in it's name, it had a good msg-board and i lost the link.
 
well I got everything working, now the only thing is when I play suikoden2 the menus are suppose to be transparent so you can see where you are but whenever I go into the menu, the background is black instead, anyway to fix this?
 
wish i had your system.but have you tried directx gpu thats what i normally used,but the only game i play on epsxe is FF9 anyways
