What are your miscellaneous monthly expenses?

I'm trying to figure out how much my monthly living expenses are going to be. So far I have figured out food, utilities, car insurance, cable, phone, and Internet. So I think all that's left is the small stuff like toilet paper and soap and those miscellaneous items.

How much do you normally spend each month on these things?

How about gasoline/car maintenance?

You left out gas, groceries, and "fun money". I'd say that's an extra $500 a month, at least. Depends on how often you go out, and where you live.

Gas won't be much, maybe like $25 a month, groceries are food as far as I know... and I won't be doing any "fun money" stuff for a couple months probably.

I live in a very small town. Right now I have figured everything so far at about $500 a month. Then the nicest apartments in town (just built a couple years ago) are $575 a month for a 1-bedroom, so I would like to get that one. But I'm probably just going to be working a factory job, so that's only going to make me like $1200 a month, so I'm kind of running into problems already.

Eh, you should be alright. I'm kinda living like that right now, too.

The only things I can think (some already mentioned) are:
[*]Haircuts
[*]Nails/facials (if you're female)
[*]Medical
[*]Dental
[*]Gifts
[*]Clothes
[*]Gas (for the car)
[*]Car Maintenance (i.e. oil-changes, repairs)

Don't ignore the small things, they add up quick. Some of the things listed above are things you should set money aside for during the months you aren't buying them.
