What are your GTX 285 overclock results?

Using Rivatuner v2.24, these are the results for my vanilla XFX GTX 285 gpu so far:

Core clock: 700 default 648
Shader Clock: 1584 default 1476
Memory clock: 2600 default 2484
Temps: 40c idle, 65c load 3DMark Vantage

I have the fan speed at default Auto Control (40%). I tried manual at 55% but the change in noise level was obvious. I backed it down to 50% with no noticeable increase in noise level, but the temperature only decreased by a few degrees.

I would post the 3DMark Vantage scores but the cpu score portion is reading really high for some reason...over 46000. It might be a glitch with the software. Any ideas on this?

Did you turn off PPU setting? this disables physx on the gpu and runs your CPU

Meh. I'm going to leave it at the factory 666Mhz for now. It's technically overkill for 1680x1050 gaming, and I kinda like the clockspeed ;)

I hope my card overclocks as good when I receive it in a few days.

1680x1050 though is a serious bottleneck. :)

I tried a few times to get my boss to name it the "Evil Edition" but he would just chuckle and say "no."

I've seen a handful of cards do around 740 core, 1728 shader and 2800 memory on air cooling (with fan on AUTO no less). Most do a lot less. Of course some do a lot more. ;) (783 core, 1844 shader, 2816 memory)

I tried those settings with my card... instant freeze up in 3DMark Vantage.:frown: Those are some aggresive settings!

Yes, and that was also a watercooled card. Don't try it with your average air cooled card.
