My job entails many hours in a car so I have recently started listening to podcasts. I am looking for some new ones. I have been listening to twit and its derivatives, engadget, and a few cnet ones. What are some of your favorites?

I gotta check out car talk, and it's been two years and I STILL haven't checked out the NPR podcasts.

I like Leo Laporte's stuff and Adam Carolla Podcast & Carcast

I'm a Green Lantern fan, so the "LanternCast" has been my favorite for over a year now.

Out of the Game
Giant Bombcast
A Life well wasted

These are the best gaming podcasts IMO -- and I listen to a lot of gaming podcasts so I think I would know which ones are good.

Adam Corolla has a good podcast too. He's much more intelligent than I imagined he was judging by his TV shows. The guy seems to be able to talk intelligently about nearly every topic, which was quite different than my impression of him on the Man Show. I loved that show, but I thought Adam was just a normal Joe, and that made it even better. Jimmy Kimmel seemed to be the brains of the 2 and Adam was just a sidekick. Now I see they're both pretty sharp.

Every podcast he has a different guest and they talk about everything you can possibly imagine.

I've been a huge fan since Loveline. Only podcast I've bothered to seek out and listen to. <3 Adam (and Dr. Drew).

Giant Bombcast

This.

I've sampled a bunch of video game podcasts, but most of them sound like immature social retards trying to be cool by swearing and complaining a lot. The Giant Bomb guys actually sound like guys you could sit down and have a beer and have fun playing video games with.

Those are the ones I listen to. I "only" have a 40 minute commute each way, so I listen to them at 2x and am able to finish a couple a day. It is still hard to keep up with twit, twig, MacBreak and the daily Adam podcast.
