What are your favorite OT thread types?

I think funny threads are the best, particularly genuine stories that are funny.

Next I say I like threads that are informative, usually by answers to questions I didn't know before.

I don's care too much about rants and sob stories, or technical stuff I know little about.

Do I get points for originality starting this thread, or is it a repost?

anime and audio gear threads. funny news/pic threads as well, although good ones are hard to come by.

1. random stuff that turns into a fun flame/junk/neff-war thing that doesn't involve noobs (noobs usually take stuff personally and the fun is gone)

2. when everybody starts making a parody of a thread, making the first page full of a similar threads from top to bottom. impossible to track which one is the original thread (they're all eventually locked, of course)
