Same, I've learned a lot just lurking there.

When I first started rooting on my OG Droid, then Galaxy Nexus, I used this forum a ton. Looks like it's pretty active still.

XDA. Been an active member there for about a decade now (started with a WindowsCE HTC Kaiser).

I think that's the same reason I discovered XDA, too. My brother had the Kaiser/TyTN II on AT&T (HTC "Tilt"). I ended up on there reading up on the unused graphics, and ended up doing a bunch of customizations including customizing the ROM and underclocking to save battery (that phone was a battery hog).

I had Pocket PC/Windows CE/Windows Mobile devices a few years before that and tinkered around with them only a bit, but don't think I ever stumbled upon XDA.
