4 years now much in particular you have to worry about.

I met a lot of people from online when I traveled....I would hit AOL a couple weeks/months before my trips and make 'stops' along the way....sometimes it was just dinner or drinks, sometimes I'd stay a night or two. A couple times I have been mislead, but it's cool, you just say sorry not interested and move on.

Hmmm, i had the very opposite. Me and friends who i met online gaming met up in Chicago last August. It was a lot of fun and even though we NEVER called eachother by our real names basically the whole time we were there (aside from mine since i use it as my nickname) it wasn't wierd at all. I felt like I already knew them and the conversations were great to talk about things that happen online that you usually don't get to talk about with anyone in real life since they arn't around you. Or atleast in my situation.
