Getting a E6700 here. Already ordered an Asus P5W DH Deluxe and some G.Skill DDR2 800. Probably gonna order a new TDX block too.

Currently: Lian-Li 1000, 4000+ clawhammer , Crucial 1GB ,7900GT Signature Series
Upgrading to E6600(still waiting on pre-order), Lian-Li G70, Mushkin Redline, Asus P5W DH, same VGA, 150 Raptor. I will go with a watercooling setup as well.

Since the X2 3800+ is so cheap, I'm going to replace my 3700+ and use it as a secondary computer. That will be a very cheap upgrade so I also plan to pick up an E6600... So basically I'll have a Conroe and X2.

I've got an A64 3700+, and right now I'm planning on a Conroe next (probably E6400). I've been going back and forth between AMD and Intel, but currently I am leaning to Intel because they're quad-core entails only one CPU, and the same socket as Conroe (whereas I'd need to get a dual socket board for 4x4).

I will take my 3200+ out and replace it with a 4600+ X2, which should cost around $224 in a week or two. Right now that same cpu is more than $550.

My option is either spend about $750 for conroe+mobo+ram, or spend about $250 and get performance that's pretty darn close. I'd save $500 for that.

DFI s754 NF3 250GB
Sempron64 3100+ at 2.6Ghz
9800Pro at XT speeds

I've told myself I'm gonna stick with s754 for a while longer since I don't game much anymore. I was thinking of picking up an A64 Venice s754 and OC to the max, but it's hard not to jump ahead to s939 or AM2 at these prices.
