I am looking at getting a new car and wondering what rates people are paying out there.

Please state Year/Make Model, Lease/Own, Price Paid.

I'm looking at a:

2001 BMW 330CI, Own, $28,000 and they are quoting my $541.32 /month for 60 months.


What are you guys paying?

ScAndal, you can save $915 (that's 20% of the total finance charge you'd pay) on your loan by taking it for 48 months instead of 60. Your payment (at the same interest rate) would be $657.59 on a 48-month loan.
 
Me car pmt $309/month for 97saturn sc2 3 year note. Will be paid off 11/02. I never take a car loan for more than 36 months...

edit: interest rate %6.9 through credit union
 
I own a 2000 Accord V6, paying 4.9% interest for 36 months, with payments of $432/mo. It's the only loan that I have not paid up in advance, since it is such a low % interest.
 
$366. I always send in $400, though. I bought my van 2 years ago at 0.9% for 60 months. I'll pay a total of around $500 interest if I went the full 60 months, which I won't.

1995 Saturn SL1 - no payments, but they were $200 a month when I had them... bought it used in 1997, but had it paid off by '99. I'd like to get a newer car, but I hate car payments...

2002 Ford Explorer V8 4x4 Eddie Bauer $465 month on a 36 month lease with 16k miles a year with a 17.5k residual.
