Thanksgiving is almost upon us and someones gotta start one of these thankful threads, so I thought I would start :)


Well, Well, Well, What am I thankful for...

I am thankful for the chance to bang on my wireless keyboard, i am thankful for the accuracy of my razor boomslang, the girl of whom I call tamara, I love her stubbornness, I love her pain, I love that smiling lady in penland cafeteria, my honda civic, penguin mints!, fry's electronics, AMD (and yes, I am thankful even for Intel). The fear and uncertainty brought about in life, An eternal God who is looking down right now upon me, Adobe Illustrator, the forums of anandtech, bluesnews, dpreview, IRC, The guy who invented the ftp client, the annoying whine my computer makes, cheap but good sounding logitech speakers, the way w2k has efficiently USED 1024MB ram this week :) Not rebooting my computer, christian anti-war protests (or any christian protest for that matter), the ability to go to baylor university, failing a class (maybe 2 :Q) and still being welcomed home for thanksgiving, ability to serve others, S&J youth group!, my motorola startac, affordable scsi drives from ebay, My Geforce ti4400, An eternal God who loves me, and last but not least that my computer isn't crashing!

Well this is what I'm thankful for. The rest is up to you :)

I am thankful for my three great kids, getting a chance to rebuild my future and stand on my own two feet for the first time ever, for my best friend who always makes me feel better, and for all the other people in my life who just make it worth going on for. And, I am thankful that I am so blessed compared to so many in this world, and that I have food to eat, my health, and a home to call my own. Working in a nursing home will show you how quickly life can slip by you, and how you can end up all alone, so you better enjoy what you have now, who knows how long it will last. Thats about it for now.

I am thankful for being able to wake up every morning and take deep breaths and WALK to the shower, see the sky outside, have breakfast in my little part of the world. I am also greatful for my mom whom i think is my best friend, my grandmas and aunts who are my fairy godmothers, my brother for making me laugh at his ingenious ideas, my dad for sharing his passions with me, my job(eventhough it is not exciting) the gift of passion and a love for theatre, all of my wonderful nick-nacks that take up space and dust and most of all, my very best friend and partner, the best man i have known, Jason. He makes me wanna get up every morning and live!!!

Wow, I love being alive.
