What are you playing this weekend? (7/31)

Most likely some more NCAA Football 10 online dynasty action. I don't have time for any gaming beyond that, even though my game backlog is probably 30-40 games deep. 🙁

So now that we predicted what we hoped to play, what did everyone actually play?

Here's my list.

Bit-Trip Beat - hard to explain, but it is a rhythm game that was a lot of fun. A friend turned me on to it this weekend.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2

Blue Dragon

Wii Sports Resort

Tiger Woods 10 on Wii

I did manage to buy and install the Fury add-on content for Wipeout HD, but I never did get a chance to play it. I wish that once content was downloaded on the PS3, it would just install the damn thing instead of putting the installation package on the console ready to be installed. Explain the logic here?! It's like "Yes, I purchased and downloaded a full game, but you know what, even though I've spent my money and can't get it back I think I'll go ahead and delete the installer after all".

I stopped predicting because I never know what I'm going to play until I get there.

I ended up playing:

- More 'Splosion Man
- More Saints Row 2
- Finally finished COD:W@W single player (did not really care for it)
- And last night I finally opened Rock Band 2 and broke it in with a friend via XBL. And by "broke it in" I mean we played the crap out of it for a few hours.

I actually did all three games that I said I would this weekend. I wish I could have gotten more time in with MvC2 though.

I agree. I did get to play MvC2, but it was for a little less than an hour.

Mostly Netflix movie streaming this weekend on the console - no console gaming for me.

I did play some World of Goo on the PC though.

I was victorious, I finished Assassin's Creed, played some Heroes of Might & Magic V, and then started Infamous last night.

Finished Call of Duty World at War, I may go back and do Veteran, dunno. Played some Uno Rush and Boggle.

Uno Rush.

That's one I still want to purchase but am waiting for a week when it is on sale. Loved the demo but I maxed out my Uno addiction with the original Uno on XBLA. 🙂

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War
Final Fantasy IV (GBA)

I might reactivate my Dungeons & Dragons Online subscription before they start up the "Free" model.

I actually played all of the above. DDO sucked the most of my time, with Zelda a close second.

Highly recommended. The regular Uno is totally boring to me now. It's fast paced and competitive. Shell out those bucks!

Finished Halo this morning; the game finally got good with "Rolling Thunder", it's just that the first two chapters sucked. Also, way too much recycling; I actually ran backwards through almost every map right back to the beginning?!
