God of War 2 is my favorite out of the series. It's an awesome game.

Good to hear! That gives me something to look forward to 🙂

Is God of War 2 harder than 1? I'm having no problems with 1 on normal setting, so I was thinking of jumping up to hard for God of War 2.

will be finishing tomb raider either tonight or tomorrow. i'm 10 hours (in 3 days) into it and i can feel i'm nearing the end. you have to do yourself a favor and play this game. best game ive played in a very very long time!

I've been debating picking up Tomb Raider as my next game purchase.

I'm kind of waiting on Bioshock Infinite reviews until I buy my next game though.

For some reason I keep going back to Aria Of Sorrow, despite the fact I have a DS and got Dawn of Sorrow a while back.

The graphics are much better and the permanent map screen is helpful but I dont like the stupid screen swipe to kill monsters, and they gimped a lot of the souls. You have to collect up to 9 of them just to get the proper effect. Disc Armor is useless at the lower levels.

Resident Evil, Director's Cut for PSX on the PC. Wow! I really missed out! Even now, after all these years since original release it absolutely rocks! And that's coming from someone totally spoiled by the very best of modern PC gaming. You wouldn't get me to play something like Mario 64 no matter how hard you try... But this game is the real deal. It is awesome, despite the horrible graphics and abysmal controls. I absolutely love it. After I finish, looking forward to trying RE2, 3 and 4 for the first time ever. and then maybe the RE remake on the Wii.

Also, Advance Wars on GBA!

Seems like a kiddie game at first, but really very very fun and deep for an adult.

Halo 4 (lots of fun online and i like the feel of the engine. the game looks great for 8 year old hardware.)

Fallout 3 GOTY (i own it for PC and 360 it's my desert island game. i didn't start playing it until 2011.)

Red Dead Redemption GOTY (mostly hardcore online (just started) and Undead Nightmare. 2nd pick for desert island game.)

REmake on Gamecube was my first game in the series, followed by RE Zero and Resident Evil 4.

For a n00b to the series, it was a great way to experience it. Those games scared the crap out of me.

I'm about as hardcore an RE fan, and survival horror fan in general as there is.

I will say right now; next to perhaps Silent Hill 2 and System Shock 2, the RE remake on Wii/Gamecube is one of the best, most immersive survival horror experiences you will ever have.
It is, hands down, one of the best games in the genre, period. Could not recommend it enough.
