I dunno your girl, but the girl I'd be buying for (if it weren't grossly inappropriate as she has a bf that isn't me) wouldn't care what the gift is. She'd want something that shows her I care about her, and she likes to know that I'm thinking about her (I send her flowers randomly, just so she knows I am she gets annoyed with guys that only buy her things on special occasions) she doesn't care what the gift actually is.

I'd probably get her a dozen long stemmed red roses because she happens to very much like flowers, she thinks they smell &quot;pretty&quot;. I'd also probably get her a kite...seems stupid but she'd love it...I took her flying a kite once, it was the first time she'd ever flown one and we had a great time together. Things like that....no one else can tell you what to get her, only you know her well enough to get her something she'd like. You don't have to go out of your way to get her something &quot;appropriate&quot;...if you have that much trouble figuring out what to get her, then maybe you should just forgo the gift and spend the day getting to know her better so you know what to buy her?

Buying gifts has never been that difficult for me...you just have to know what makes her happy. And that's the whole point. Don't have to spend a bunch of money, or get something that's valentinish...just get her something that will make her smile

Making her smile is always a good idea...I dunno about you but whenever she smiles at me it always makes me unreasonably happy for about a week

Damn I better shut up now...I'm totally ruining my reputation....
