That sounds nice, but the real reason is that the "views" feature was put in after the thread was started, and has only counted views since it was put in. So the majority of posts in the thread did not count as a view, since they weren't being counted. That happens with lots of old threads, like this one and this one.. 😉

my explanation of why it does that still- cos when you reply, stay in the thread and reply again, you aren't viewing it again each time...🙂

Something like that...which would kind of make what I said still true (i.e., that viewing a page deep in the thread wouldn't update the Views count 😛)
