ARRGH! nothing.
I love valentine's day because when I was growing up it was always "friendship day" or "loved ones" day and you do nice things for those you love.
But my hubby grew up with the notion that on that day men must cater to their women like never before! and if they don't then beware....and the women must sit back and be showered with expensive gifts and attention.
Anyway, it's always been a sore spot for him because he thinks it's so one-sided so we're not giving eachother anything. We're going out for a bite and paying our own bills so that all's fair.
Sounds unromantic I know, but we'll be together and that's what matters to me.
Also, valentine's day is kind of moot this year because he's taking me to see The Lion King play as a birthday present. WOOHOO!
So I don't care if I don't get anything tomorrow---I'm going to see THE LION KING, Baby!!!!!
