What are you genuinely thankful for?

I'm genuinely thankful for... um... my wife and kids.

I'm also expecting a parody thread of "What are you ingenuinely thankful for?" to be started soon. Besides, who wouldn't jump at the chance to use a word like the word "ingenuine" anyway?

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in England, I suppose I am thankful for that. :D
at all?!

Yeah remember, the Brits tossed that whacky lot of Puritans out the door and said "Hey, look over to the west across the ocean... I think there's some land there for you..."

That's why WE'RE thankful. :)

(No offense to the Brits! You're a wonderful lot!)

Nope, not at all. We didn't have to kill anyone for our land. ;) (Another joke, I kid I kid.)

It is funny to think that the southern half of the original 13 colonies were mostly prison colonies. That explains most of the people down here anyway...

Canadian, yes. Canandian, no. :p

I suppose when it rolls around, our northerly neighbors will be posting about being thankful for hockey, better beer and naked curling. :D

I'm not very thankful that I never get to watch it anymore. How are my old sabers doing this year? Sucking as usual probably right?

Here's a look at one of the 2 toughest divisions in the league (imho):

team / record / pts

OTTAWA 16-3-0 32
MONTREAL 14-5-3 31
TORONTO 12-8-0-2 26
BUFFALO 12-9-1 25
BOSTON 8-10-0-5 21

Sabres aren't a bad team at all, it will be tough for them to make it out of their division, but they have showed they can be pretty good when they're good. I don't think Briere has had many points lately... they need him to shoot the lights out to have a chance this year.

I'm grateful for my wonderful husband, our families and friends, the best job I ever had, running water, toilet paper, washing machines, dishwashers, cars, satellite dishes, PVR's, movies on DVD, cell phones, pumpkin pies, turkey with all the fixings, and a four-day weekend.

Only in America. :D
