Inspired by this.

Made my fiancee some stir fry. Freshly cut veggies + Chinese oyster sauce + sliced Italian sausage.

Stir fry is all about maintaining high heat. I cooked the veggies & meat separately, then added them together with the sauce. Came out delicious and looked great just like the pic.

I didn't eat too much of it. I had chicken earlier.

Please do share, it actually gives us next dinner idea!

made a fresh alfredo and grilled some chicken and served it over the pasta -linguini- and made a insalata caprese and some antipasta to start. The kids went nuts for it.
We then ended the meal with a romaine salad. I have started serving salad last like my mom used to. Kids actually eat more veggies that way. Its weird.

I gotta actually buy this. I ask for this at every Dim Sum or Chinese place. It would've been PERFECT for the stir fry.

I think I've seen them in Asian aisle. How do they say this in Chinese?

I rotisseried a roast the other day. Coated it with paprika, garlic and onion powder, celery seed, kosher salt, and some cayenne then let it sit for a while before throwing it on the grill. Beautiful smoke ring on it.

Also, steamed green beans.

Nothing too fancy, but very satisfying.

It was not dinner but breakfast this morning.

Over easy eggs with fresh picked asparagus from my garden(literally from garden to frying pan in 2 minutes. Sauteed the asparagus for one minute on high heat with local farm butter, salt and shallot pepper seasoning, then added fresh farm eggs cooked til over easy and devoured with french bread to sop up the yolk.

Fresh asparagus is such a culinary delicacy. It is super sweet and tender, not bitter or fibrous. Sucks I can only get it for about 2 weeks outta the year.

Leftovers.

(Whole wheat organic pasta, homemade marinara sauce, moz. cheese, and some red wine.)

I am now eating a granola bar and drinking beer.

Large chili cheese fries loaded with onions and jalapeños. Best thing at the ball park.

Someone pooped in your chili oil :^D

I made bean and cheese burritos. Really just canned spiced black beans heated in the microwave, with shredded cheese and hot sauce in flour tortilla. Easy, and I was tired as hell.

Actually missed food. Now it's 12:30 AM and considering whether to get something from a 24 hour place. Maybe the market, frozen meal, or smoked gouda sandwhich.

So, prison would be an upgraded menu?

As far as variety?

Want to know what my breakfast and lunch are?

Breakfast = Cheerios + sliced bananas + milk
Lunch = Columbus herb roasted turkey breast + harvarti cheese + horseradish mustard + spinach + Ciabatta bread.

Everyday. I'm very surprised I'm not married yet. I'll probably be happy with the same woman for the rest of my life.

Made a kind of chicken risotto with just stuff I had in the house. Didn't have chorizo, so just used chipolatas. Didn't get quite the spiciness, but the chipolatas still tasted nice.
