I unleashed the Kraken tonight. It's quite potent. Bit like drinking gasoline on its own, but not bad in a Cuba Libre.

That stuff is so ridiculously sugary/molasses-y. A couple drinks in and you may as well be sipping syrup. I have half a bottle that I may have a bit of walking the streets this New Year's, if I can find a flask. :hmm:

I have a bottle of Garrison Imperial IPA. They're one of my favourite craft breweries (mentioned them before) but it's hard to get their stuff in Ontario. Got 1hr left before I can GTFO of work.

I'm not as well versed in tasting notes as my fiance.. but it was good. Lot of citrus, apple and honey, creamy finish. She's eyeing a bottle of 2004 Dom Perignon or 2004 Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame for next year already.
