THE favorite scotch for price to taste ratio. Simply beautiful. A good friend of mine brought me this for hosting a BBQ. I've been saving this. I think, for whatever reason is up in air, will open this and drink it tonight.

I've been trying to open up more into the beautiful world of scotch. How do Glenlivet & Macallan stack up to this? What other brands should I get into?

looks yummy.

My liquor store has Jameson for 3 dollars off and a free flask. Been pounding that.

My drink of choice this spring has been rather simple, but so tasty and light.
Peach Schnapps and Ice tea (unsweetened). Shot of schnapps in a glass with ice and tea. SO tasty, refreshing and perfect for nice weather. If I am feeling saucy, I will add some lemon juice too.

Tonight, probably nothing. To much to drink the last 3 nights. Atlanta sucks ass by the way.

I HAVE NO IDEA YET!

Anyone have any ideas? Something delicious that will get me feeling warm and fuzzy.

how much for a bottle? haven't tried it so I can't compare. Not a fan of Glenlivet, but the standard Macallan is pretty good, about as smooth as a malt can get, anyway.

for my money, I'm very happy with Laphroig or Talisker.

Craggan is $50-60 for 12 yo. If you go to one of thoes big liquor whole sale places, u can get it as cheap as $40-45.

Very very smooth. I still remember 4 years ago, my good firend and I were drinking at a bar talking about religion and all that good stuff. Just two boys being boys.

I told the hot bartender that I wanted to get into scotch and had her recommend me something different than Johnny.

She gave me Cragganmore. I was surprised at how smoooooth it was even to a scotch-noob like me. Since that fateful night, I never drink anything else unless I'm forced to since many bars don't stock Craggan.

I've been hooked on some of the sweeter German wines like Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Liebfraumilch. If you're a wine person and you haven't had them yet, I suggest trying one of them. You won't be disappointed. Some of the Riesling's produced in Canada are pretty darn good and are relatively inexpensive. I'm a big fan of Cave Spring.
