I figure I should do something useful and not lame but who knows? 3-day weekends don't come that often. Maybe a roadtrip to LA or SD for me.

What about you guys?

Assuming the weather holds, backyard BBQ for the neighborhood. Oh, and watching that new Terminator film somewhere in there.

Taking a vacation with my wife's family in Destin, FL. We're staying in a house by the ocean. I am totally looking forward to this Friday (taking a flight after work).

Having a "Watch paint dry" contest? :D

I worked in that area about 25 years ago. Nice country.

IC is a cool town. Definitely far more progressive than most midwest cities (of it's size). I think most of town is cleaned up after the floods last year. The strip was 8 feet underwater :(

If you like deep dish pizza then check out the Wig 'N Pen. Capital Brewery (if it's still open) also has some really nice beers on tap. The Sanctuary is another quiet bar with a great beer list. They usually have some live bands playing on the weekends.

My cousin works at Martinis. Stop in and say hi to Sarah. :)

As for us...we're taking a 16 month old on her first plane ride to Tucson, AZ. Not my first choice this time of the year, but my wife hasn't seen her grandma in over 5 years.

working sunday kinda 86's any plans I might have had.

I'll probably spend Monday cleaning and installing my living room AC.

really gotta go buy a new AC for my bedroom as well... I have one from last year, but it's noisy as hell and doesn't really work that great (also isn't energystar)

Pressure clean exterior of house and aerate the lawn.

Finish off the babies room just in case he decides to come early and go see Terminator at some point.

Cleaning out the garage as much as I can and also buying a deep freezer if I can find any good "holiday sales".

Pretty much the same as any weekend, weather permitting - just more of it.

As much outdoors as possible during the day - fishing, golf, and possibly get the motorcycle out. Fot the evenings, booze, booze, and more booze.

Thanks for the suggestions, I've been there once before and LOVED it, really redefined my idea of what the midwest could be like. My bf went to school there and taught there, I'll ask him about Sanctuary!

I mostly relaxed, but for once we had a nice day today so I just finished mowing the front lawn, not that it needed it that bad, but at least it picked up debris and stuff saving me from raking. We took the BBQ and patio stuff out. Probably going to get a snow storm now that we did that. :p Actually the snow storms are pretty much over now... I hope.
