Funny that happens to be roughly my tax return this year which should be getting deposited soon. I bought myself 2 4k monitors.

Been wanting to upgrade for a while, originally only wanted one, but why not two. :p Went with two 28" instead of the one 32" I originally was aiming for. We have 3 27" at work and I can see text fine so didn't need 32. The jump from 28" to 32" is crazy price wise, so for the price of 1 32" I could get 2 28". Came up to a bit under 1k.

I doubt that I'll be getting much. Me and my wife's combined income goes over the income cap.

I still think that these federal tax rebates should have a state based cost of living adjustment. it's kinda lame that someone who makes $50K in rural Iowa will get more than someone who makes $90K in NYC, even though the person living in NYC has a much higher cost of living and likely had a much bigger financial impact from the virus.

If it were based on my income alone I wouldn't get anything.

With the wife + 2 maxed out 401ks + an HSA I'll get back ~$2700 (since it will be partially phased out)

I'll put it in the bank account and continue my expenses as normal like I always do even when I get an annual bonus' or whatnot.

Haha as if we have any control over the terms.....I agree with your sentiment though especially about obamacare. That stupid fucking program stole 2K from us last year.
