Am I the only person on these forums that uses their real name? Why is everyone so afraid of being found by someone else? The only people that you have to worry about already know who and where you are...the Government! I'm certainly not going to travel from Jacksonville, Florida to East Cupcake, Pa. to steal the chump change from your ashtray in your car.
 
My name is Mike Pastore. I am not afraid, just no reason to use it when people everywhere already know me as Beast... Much shorter, and tells people about your personality, or physical appearance 😉

What makes you think that people use screen names because they are afraid of using their real names?
 
Maybe it has nothing to do with paranoia. People on the 'Net like to be creative - their IDs might point to their hobbies or interests - hence &quot;NFS4 and Viper GTS&quot;

Me? I use my initials and my name can be achieved by looking at my profile and seeing my E-mail address.

My Screen Name is just a nickname because my name is Matt Wood and there was just too many Matts' in our circle of friends..... so hence woodly the 6 i just added because of the lucky number thing.
 
I am just lazy don't want to type it all out. But there are also crazies out there. I would be reluctant to publish to detailed of info.
