what are WoW RP servers like?

the description i found is "The roleplaying realms use the same ruleset as PvE realms, with the exception that players must act and behave in character." so what does that mean?

They are creepy. One of my guild members has a RP add-on thats makes him say something like "Die by the balde of my mighty sword" when he attacks. Also when he sends his pet into battle he says "Aid me in my time off need (pet name)."

Oh I forgot to mention that my cousin tried it for a couple of weeks. You can't talk like you would on a regular server. Intstead of just saying "Hi" or "What up" you have to say like "How are you this good day Blah bal?"

Do you play WoW? If so, why not make a char on a RP realm and find out?

I play on an RP server, Cenarion Circle, and RP seems pretty much dead. Most people on the Horde side pretty much speak like they would on a regular PVE server.

It's pretty friggin' nerdy from my perspective, but some people obviously get a kick out of it.
