Tom Ridge is refusing to testify before the appropriations commitee Ridge. I don't understand this. First Cheney and his notes and now Tom Ridge. I'm a supporter of this admin, I voted for them, but I don't understand why Cheney and Ridge can't/won't talk to Congress. Their reasons don't hold water with me. They are giving the dems a campaign issue that they could diffuse very easily. And it's the right thing to do. I think the appropriations committee can know how he intends to spend the money. Maybe they shouldn't appropriate or authorize any money for him unless he goes and testifies. Checks and balances is the system fellas, work with it or move along. End of rant.
