What are they going to say on Top Gear today?

Just wondering what you guys think they will say on Top Gear today after the whole mexico thing.

Personally I think they will give a backhanded apology, I.e. apologise in an insulting way or insult every other nation to make it even?

I agree, but when an ambassador demands an apology they can't ignore it on the show, they will have to do something.

I'm going to go with nothing since most of these shows seem to be filmed way before they are broadcast.

The studio show is filmed on the Thursday before the Sunday airing. I had tickets a few years ago, but couldn't make it.🙁

They have to mention something about it, they will say something, that's what I was wondering.

I agree, but when an ambassador demands an apology they can't ignore it on the show, they will have to do something.

They're TV show hosts, not diplomats. There's no reason they have to say anything, and an ambassador has no authority over them whatsoever.

The epi thats for this weekend I belive was recorded before the whole mexico thing so I dont think they will say anything this epi. Though they already said something in response.

As I said, it's recorded on a Thursday, and they have mentioned it, jokingly, no apologies, a couple of times, and the Star brought on a Mexican wrestling mask.

You never get a straight apology, and I applaud them for it! 🙂

They won't is a better statement, when there are public complaints about Top Gear they ALWAYS mention it on the show. This was no exception.

The article from Clarkson reminds me a bit of the reason why Dave Chappelle quit doing comedy (on TV)... some people just didn't get the fact that the point was to poke fun at everyone and just have a good ol' time.
