oooh I see.. serial ata.. much faster and smaller than the regular ata data cables... interesting..

many hard drives use this yet?

Use Webopedia.com too. It's a dictionary for computer tech terms. Lots of good info.

Wow cmon, what have you been posting this whole time?

The flat ribbon cables are IDE cables, for IDE hard drives, floppy drives, and optical (CD, DVD) drives. The thin red cables are the SATA cables, and the thing with the cables coming out of it is extra USB ports, that would attach to a PCI slot on the back of your computer.
