Topic is one question
Another is where can I get them.

I currently have 2 rooms set up using the usual network cables and switches and so on.
I have another room across the hall I want to set up a computer on BUT I don't want to run a line down the hall way.

I heard of a way to setup using the phoneline.(thus my first question). I heard they can go upto 10mbps which is fine for that computer because it is mainly for web browsing and email.

SO where can I get them.

It's called "phoneline networking" or PNA and you can get the stuff you need at just about any computer/consumer electronics store or online vendor.

BUT if 2 of your computers are on ethernet and you want the phoneline machine to "see" that network you will need a PNA->ethernet bridge in addition to the other stuff

let me think about what I need before I get back to you. I think I need a bridge now since I want my other computer to see the other two computers I have in my network.
