huh?

if its video/audio would the video output be like my Video Card's S-Video output? (to tv, monitors, etc)
and are they input/output? will video/audio from say...a portable dvd player go onto my PC screen?

the yellow is digital audio output = SPDIF

who knows what the red is.

We would be able to better answer your question if you had the manufacturer and model of your motherboard.
