What are there so many teens boy and girl rushing to join ISIS?

It doesn't seem like all that many are rushing to to join ISIS.

But of the ones I have seen the vast majority appear to be Muslims of Arab descent (I haven't heard of any Coptics going to the ME). So, they're returning to the 'Motherland'.

For some young people the concept of 'struggle' and combat seems to be glamorous. And "Idealism" can be a double-edged sword.

You're saying more about yourself than about anybody else. The lack of self examination in that is appalling. It's what's wrong with the right wing.

Not that there's a whiff of a prayer that you can see that.

I wonder if these three teen boys recently caught in turkey from the UK should have been let on their way. That way they could be most likely killed in an airstrike or via some stupid gun fight somewhere. Instead, the UK takes them home, will monitor them for a while, and then they will kill people in the UK instead.
