I don't know, that seems a little high to me with a Zalman installed. What were the temps with the stock cooling?

Yeah that's a tad warm. My 6800GT clocked at 440/1180 with an NV Silencer5r2 does 42C/54C idle/load.

Unless you didn't install the heatsink properly, everest should be correct. What kinda of thermal paste did you use?

Step 1:

Remove all dust!

You would not beleive how much dust can ramp up your temps on these cards!!!

My card idles very very high, I don't know why. The temps are around 75 idle and they can get up to around 110 under load. I ordered a Zalman VF 900, hopefully that will help.

I had the Accelero X1 and my idle temp was 50c, Before that the stock cooler was 58c.I installed the NV5 rev3 and now my idle temp is 52c.
I figured that since it exhuasted the hot air out the back it might be a better cooling solution. BTW everest records the temp at 43c and the
nVidia utility records it at 52c. What gives?
