Usenet without a doubt.

There's well over 80,000 different newsgroups. Some with 10 of thousands of posts each.

Ninety percent of internet users have no idea what it is, or what software you need to access it - and we like it that way.

It's older than the WWW, and still has the most "stuff" for the taking if you know how.

Was going to post that too. It's a good link to remember.

Don't discount the foreign forums, from what I've heard... they have a few 'interesting' groups that don't require any translation to enjoy.
