What are the temp limits for motherboards?

I can't find any info on this anywhere, there's a lot for GPUs and CPUs but nothing on chipset temps... I have a Gigabyte P35-DS4 Rev 2.0 by the way.

Not sure of the answer but how are you monitoring the mobo temp?

Key components are PWM and NB. Both should be warm to the touch. If hot, then you need to provide active cooling.
