I ran across them on ebay once, but lost the auction. I tried to get it from real life stores, but no stores carried it. Neither could it be found on eastbay/footlocker/finishline/champssports.com
I called Nike, and they said that they produce this in batch only for women. For mens, they are only available as the customized Nike iD shoes.
There are usually about 10 men's pair available on ebay at any given time, from small sellers who have only 1 or 2 pairs. I emailed them to ask where theyre from, of course none of them tells me.
I just gave in and bought a pair, and they look and feel authentic. They were in a green/yellow nike shox box, but the box was flipped inside-out (maybe just for shipping purposes)
Now all I need is to satisfy my curiousity. what is the deal with these? are they fakes produced in China? maybe theyre sold in markets outside of the US? how do different sellers get their hands on only a few pair?
