The NB fan on my EVGA 790i FTW is going; it's making death rattle noises and I'm worried the northbridge temp is spiking up.
Does anybody have a recommendation on northbridge replacements?
So far I was looking at this one, but was curious what other people have tried:

I already have the thermal epoxy to put it on there permanently, and was thinking about just clipping and soldering shut the heatpipe that goes over the mostfets so that it doesn't leak out.
