From lowest to highest, what is the ranking between the different credit cards? And are there any other differences besides a higher maximum credit limit?

not that rankings mean much anymore... CC companies seem to plaster "platinum card" onto everything.

That's pathetic considering a cc based on it's "bragging rights".

Look at the annual fee, purchase APR, promotional APR, balance transfer offers, and most importantly PERKS.

it's not really for bragging rights. i just want to know which one is better to hold in the long run. the diamond comes w/ better perks but down the road, i dont want a CC that will give me a crappy maximum credit limit.

Yeah, I don't think platinum means much anymore....I've all 3 of mine are Platinum. That's what they give everyone now, I think.

And as far as the limit, 2 of those are $300. Not very platinumish of you ask me.

If you don't have any credit cards older than that Mastercard, don't cancel it, as it would probably be the longest continuously open account on your credit report.

All but one of my cards are "platinum," it means nothing.
