What are the power specs of A7N266-VM?

I can't find them anywhere in the manual or their web site? With the integrated components, I'm trying to do a power consumption audit to determine if this case with 180W PSU will be adequate. The customer really wants to use this case and from what I can tell it's borderline whether it will work nicely without upgrading the PSU (which will cost them more which is a no-go.)

Hmm, if you can't find 'em, I probably can't either. ;) But if it's relevant, Compaq's nForce 220D business-desktop systems with AthlonXP 2000+ and 2200+ use 220W power supplies. Compaq D315 specs I would consider this case/psu combo because the case has been raved about here on the forums, and the PSU was AMD-recommended all the way to the 2100+ before AMD quit recommending specific models. Better safe than sorry.

Well this is for a 1700+ which is only 64W max as opposed to the 72W of the ones you mentioned. I'll look into that case, but we're trying to go micro-ATX. That Evercase has 475.95 cu. in. more volume which is 20% larger. I know it may not seem like a big deal, but this person really wants a stylish and small case.

that case, which is very nice by the way, has a 300watt ATX psu in it. it's quality and very quiet.

edit: sorry, i'm a doofus. 180watts should be enough provided only 1 HDD, 1 CD/DVD-ROM and 1 or fewer PCI cards. what are the specs on the rails?

I feel more comfortable with surplus power, and picked Antec 660's with the TruePower 330W for my A7N266-VM-based work systems. A bit overkill, yeah, but I had no qualms about sticking a Radeon 7500 in one the other day (gonna try some dual-monitor action for one of our database specialists). Better too much than not enough... 'specially considering we're hoping for a 5-year lifespan out of them. And I think the extra-duty power supply may iron out minor voltage sags a bit, too.

How about one of these: http://www.directron.com/fk611.html Same 300W Enhance power supply, microATX, reputed to be pretty quiet, with room for an 80mm or 92mm rear exhaust fan if you so desire (those $2.50 NMB's from SVC would be a nice pick...).

By the way... when's nForce2 comin' out? :D:p;)

Damned if I know anymore. I know that as soon as I build these systems for the people that I was putting off for nForce2 that it will be available the next day. What I'm hearing is "soon" and "probably November", but these systems can't wait any longer.

Thanks for the FK suggestion. I've liked them in the past. Not as stylish as the Enlight, but I know they're good.

BTW, if you did decide to get the FK from Directron, I see Directron also has NMB fans at $3.

Thanks, but I have plenty of fans in inventory.

BTW, I'm hearing that nForce2 prices will come in significantly higher than people expect. I'm also not expecting to really see much from most vendors until the December-January timeframe.

It's crazy, I longed for nvidia to shake up the market with a kick-ass integrated board and they did; and now I'm hoping that someone will come out with a performance competitive integrated board just to kick nvidia for these paper launches and delays.
