Weighted means NOTHING for example I had a few friends at public school with 4.8-5.0 GPA's. Want to know the first thing the University did when they got their transcripts? Unweight the GPA and apply their own weight. For example, it was not possible at my school (even with A+'s in every single class) to get above a 4.5, but because my school was widely regarded as one of the top prep schools in the southeast, my 3.9 weighted got me into a lot more schools than their 4.8's did.
I guess my point is that you shouldn't worry about weighting your GPA because it's completely subjective and colleges won't even look at it. You might as well tell people that you got a 6.0 GPA for all it matters.
/edit BTW, awesome quote in your sig OP
