what are the little things that annoy you when your out n about?

for me its broken lights....i cant stand broken lights in shops and cafes and places, it annoys me

and also, when things dont get looked after. i look after everything i own, and as a result most stuff still looks brand new, it annoys me when i see people with expensive things like mobile phones and ipods etc and they just throw them around like its a cheap play toy.

edit: oh and girls that smoke annoy me, such a turn off to see a fit chick turn round with a cancer stick in her mouth

People who can't stay to the right side of a hallway/corridor/stairway annoy the he!! out of me. I take the El every day in Chicago, and the amount of people who use the pedway and walk against the flow of people is staggering. I usually just keep walking right into them and drop my shoulder.

Also, people on diets who get in the salad line at lunch, brag about how well they are doing (cause they're eating a salad instead of a burger) and then put 4 full ladles of ranch dressing on the salad. Yeah, that's healthy. Could explain why you still weigh 350 lbs.

Finally, there is one single-file escalator going up to get into our building and 3 columns of stairs. People will wait in line all day to take the escalator up instead of walking up 15 stairs. Get some exercise people. You're the same ones bragging about your diet, but refuse to get a little exercise.

It annoys me my car horn does not emit a sonic distortion wave that shatters windows, pops eardrums and causes babies to explode.

My personal annoyance is when people/American girls are talking too much while you want them/yourself to relax/not talk. Also their excessive usage of 'ohmygod' and 'like', 'wicked' annoys me even more.

(I'm at college in Toronto.)

I can't stand the filth in this city. Garbage is everywhere. Things are left unkept. People have tons of junk all over their lawns and driveways. The roads and curbs are not maintained. The city is in massive debt and it will only get worse. There are so many repairs needed that won't happen. The sidewalks (downtown) are complete ass. Its dirty almost everywhere you go. The air smells like sh!t. Oh and there are too many stupidly loud and obnoxious teens and young adults on the TTC/everywhere... "yo baby momma gunna wet that foo up" (how they typically talk to one another).

I pretty much hate everything about Toronto

Litter. When I see someone toss litter I see red. I ask them to pick it up, and if they don't I've done so far as to pick it up myself and stuff it in a bag they are carrying. Can't stand to see things tossed out of car windows either, cigarette butts cause forest fires around here, and the wife and I write down license plate numbers and forward them on to the police. The wife's uncle works for the police, and they send out letters to the people who are littering warning them of fines. Hopefully it makes some difference, though I know it sounds anal.
